A Touch of Promise

I am embarrassed to realize it has been over a year since my last post. I apologize for leaving you all without any word for so long. The good news is that I’ve used this time to write, rewrite, edit and prepare my third novel, A Touch of Promise, for launch in late May or early June. I’ve just finished the last edits and am working on finalizing the cover design and marketing materials. Writing a book is a long journey!!

The story follows on from Promise of the Bluebell Woods, chronicling Pearl’s difficulties settling in Canada without the support of her family. But more than just Pearl’s story it is the story of a group of immigrant women who struggle to adapt to living in a country without the support of their family. It’s an inspiring story of women helping women through life.

The story also brings back Mary Ann, from A Ring of Promises, giving some insight into her life after marrying Will.

I hope you enjoy it. I’ll let you know when it is available for pre-purchase and what the final launch date is once I know it myself!

This will end the Promise series … it will be available as a 3 book set at some point in the future.

In the meantime I’ll give you a preview of the cover so you can tell me what you think. It’s still awaiting the development of a tagline and blurb … so, there is just filler text where that goes. Love to hear from you to know what you think.

The cover looks amazing and invites us all to wonder about the stories of those women and how Pearl will connect with them. We readers loved Pearl and her story of finding true love during WWII. I think we’ll keep on loving her as we discover what happens to Pearl after moving to Canada as a young war bride.

    • Glad the cover is doing its job! And yes, Pearl is still very lovable. Thanks for chiming in on the post.

I love the cover page and how it stands out so well. Seeing the ladies makes me excited to get a copy and read about all of them. Your books have been so interesting and I know this one will be the same. Looking forward to it.
