Family History Interview Guide

Are there intriguing stories in your Family History? You won’t know unless you ask! This guide will help you find the details and preserve them for future generations.

My career as an author began with the discovery that my paternal grandparents had a fascinating immigration and love story. They were not the ordinary couple I had always believed them to be. When I tried to make sense of a journal my grandfather had written of a canoe trip in a stolen canoe I uncovered an incredible 4-year journey. You can read about it in my book “A Ring of Promises”. For more details on this you can view the video linked below.

My frustration with being unable to find the missing details of this story causes me to encourage everyone to interview their family members while they are still cognitively capable of giving rich details about the significant events in their lives. This guide will help you to form and execute a plan to do just that. To get a free copy sign up for my newsletter at www.mariegage.ca , confirm the registration and you will receive an email with the document attached. You will also receive future emails about my personal writing journey as I develop the next book on my agenda. Don’t worry, I will not be flooding your inbox with frequent emails.

Brenda: Not sure how I missed this comment from you but thank you. No I don’t think I have sent it to all the writers. Will have to do that.
