Our grandson and I read “Oliver and the Bee” at the cottage a few weeks ago. Before we took him home, he asked if he could take the Beekeeper Sock Monkey with him “for a little visit.” Last night, he proudly showed us Beekeeper tucked into bed and his beekeeper hat on the shelf ready for him to keep bees. “They’re important, Grandma.” I, of course, heartily agreed.
